Quick start

Open the editor at https://hmi-editor.pages.dev/ and follow these steps.

1. Create a project

1. Click New project (or choose a template).
2. Fill the title block: name, members, drawing type, scale and revision.

2. Choose the discipline

Select the active area at the top (chemical, electrical, civil, mechanical or instrumentation). The catalog and symbol geometry change per discipline.

3. Add symbols

• Open the symbol palette (side panel) and drag or click to place.
• Adjust position, size and rotation from the properties panel.

4. Connect equipment

• Use the ports on symbols to create connections.
• Lines route automatically and become control loops when you connect instruments.

5. Organize with layers

• Create layers to separate pipes, instruments and annotations.
• Hide or lock layers to work clearly.

6. Save and export

• Saving is automatic in your browser.
• Export to PNG, SVG or PDF from the File menu. Generate the bill of materials (BOM) as PDF.

Check the Help dialog (H key) inside the editor for the full shortcut list and the command line (Ctrl/Cmd + K).
