Layers

Layers let you organize the diagram (pipes, instruments, annotations, frames). Each layer can be hidden, locked or renamed. Hidden layers are not exported.

Connections and routing

Symbols expose ports (connection points). Joining two ports creates a line that routes automatically with square corners. You can adjust the route manually.

Tags

Each instrument uses a tag based on its function, e.g. PT-101 (pressure transmitter) or FV-201 (control valve). The editor suggests tags per discipline.

Title block

The title block stores drawing data: project name, members, drawing type, scale, revision and date. It is included in PDF exports.

P&ID validation

The validation panel reviews the diagram for common issues (untagged equipment, loose connections, incomplete loops) to help you produce consistent drawings.

Active area

The active discipline changes the catalog and symbol geometry: chemical, electrical, civil, mechanical and instrumentation.

Storage

Everything is saved locally in your browser. No data is sent to any server.
